About the client
Powerful SaaS platform that provides everything event planners need to plan, create, invite and run 1:1 private video meetings. Participants for meetings are selected using a smart algorithm based on their answers about the types of people they are interested in meeting. Online video meetings are organized using customized video chat.
Main challenge and our solution
The client had an old legacy system designed for in-person events only. We developed from scratch the new system designed specifically for online video events. We used the legacy system’s core algorithm for matching participants for meetings in the new system. We modify and partially re-write the platform turning it as a social network with video chats, text chats, friends connections and appointment setting opportunity.

- Platform received new investments, allowing further development.
- We are continuing working on new features and enhancing existing ones.
For creating the platform, we used Python for Backend and React.js for Frontend. In order to implement all the requested features we integrated with several 3rd party services:
- Twilio (for video chat and sending out SMS)
- PubNub (for text messaging between users)
- Mailgun (for sending emails)
- Google Calendar API (for appointments)
